First off I don’t have the Saddam hanging video.

I have heard more and more about this saddam hanging video in recent times and I’m curious WHY do people out there wish to see anohter human being executed? What is our fascintaion with watching another person die? From what I have heard and seen briefly on the TV the Saddam hanging video has all the makings of a myspace/youtube video with the crappy telephone camera and shakey video.  Is this why people want to see it? It’s classic internet video at it’s BEST/WORST?
What’s with all these people wanting to watch another man die? I mean you know Saddam is dead, you know he died by hanging but you still need to SEE it? Will it bring closure to you or do you want to watch it for pure entertainment? I just don’t get the reasoning!
