SEO & Link Building
A lot of people these days think SEO is something “magical” and that you need to pay thousands of dollars to SEO your site, NOT TRUE!
On page SEO is very important as well as a properly configured robots.txt file but what comes next is what not many people in the non-SEO world know about, and that’s link building. Most webmasters who hire someone as a SEO think they are doing something “magical” with their site or maybe they believe they have an “in” with the search engines, ha not true! There are not many SEO services out there that are reasonable affordable and that even themselves understand the importance of link building. While googling SEO, link building and the like I stumbled upon SEO Fusion’s site and they are a company who understands link building as their CEO Jim Westergren has a very clear understanding of SEO and what WORKS.
Basic tips for SEO:
- On page optimization.
- Correct title tags on each page. (Not generic for the entire site.)
- Meta Tags… yes they are sometimes shown/used in SERPS.
- Correctly configured robots.txt file in your web root directory.
- No hidden text or “on page spam”.
- Build backlinks from related sites.
- Use your desired keywords atleast someplace once on the page.
What is link building?
Link building is the act of getting other websites to link to yours. The more relative the linking site is the greater the benefit.
