Tracking proxy site visitors
If you haven’t heard of google analytics you need to crawl out from whatever rock you are under and signup!
AWStats, URCHIN, WebAlizer, etc do NOT show correct stats for proxy sites. They wil show almost identical number of page views as hits! You need to install google analytics and put the code on your index page as well as your proxified page.
Not only does google analytics show correct stats it allows you to disable your server-run stats thus feeing up server resources for more proxy websites!
